Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is prepared by the Finance Department in accordance with the standards of financial reporting as prescribed by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Auditor of Public Accounts of the Commonwealth of Virginia (APA). The CAFR is a detailed presentation of the County’s financial position and activities for the fiscal year.
