Over the next several months, Roanoke County staff will be presenting information to the Board of Supervisors in preparation for adoption of the 2010-2011 budget. This will be a challenging task given the decline in local and state revenues. These reductions will require Roanoke County to identify which services are most important to citizens in the event cuts have to be made. This webpage was created to keep the public informed of the budget-related documents being shared with the Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Supervisors will hold special work sessions about the fiscal year 2010-2011 budget on the following dates at the Roanoke County Administration Center, 4th floor:
- Tuesday, February 2, 2010, from 2 pm until 5 pm.
- Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from 2 pm until 5 pm.
A special meeting will be held at the Roanoke County Administration Center to hear human and social service agencies' requests for funding in fiscal year 2010-2011.
- Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 6:00 p.m.
