Description:  Whether you want to take a leisurely walk in the park or get some exercise, Brookside has all the fun distractions.  The playground and newly built rentable shelter are located near the park entrance.  Continuing accross a picturesque wooden bridge and over a stream reveals additional playgrounds and park amenities incluyding a swing set, ballfield and basketball court. 

Directions: From Hershberger Road, turn left onto Florist Road right next to Friendship Manor retirement facility.  Turn right onto Verndale Road, and park is on the left.  From Williamson Road heading south, turn left onto Florist at Brookside Golf when you see a stoplight half-way up the hill.  Go approximately 1/4 mile and turn left onto Verndale.  Park is on the left.  DIRECTIONS ONLINE using Google Maps
