Description:  Gearhart Park is located directly behind the Roanoke County Career Center in Vinton.  Visit Gearhart to take advantage of a secluded ballfield, perfect to practice your pitching and batting skills.  Wander down the hill past the parking lot to rest under the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch. 

Directions: Take Gus Nicks Boulevartd toward Vinton.  Turn right onto Highland Road past Roanoke County Career Center.  Or take Route 24 East and turn left onto Pollard Street.  Then turn left onto Gus Nicks Boulevard/Washinton Avenue. When ou cross the bridge take a left onto Highland Road just before Roanoke County Career Center.
