Roanoke River Greenway - Segment within Green Hill Park

Completed in 2008, this paved 0.8 mile segment of the Roanoke River Greenway runs the length of Green Hill Park. It's the first segment of the Greenway built within Roanoke County and will ultimately stretch 30 miles, from Spring Hollow Resivoir to the former Explore Park site. The Roanoke River Greenway is the top prioirty of both Roanoke County and the Roanoke Valley Regional Greenways Commision, with several new segments in the planning or engineering phases.  Please visit Green Hill Park and enjoy this trail's scenic vistas.
