The mission of Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s Athletics Division is to encourage adults and youth to participate in sports leagues, camps, and instructional clinics, for the purpose of building leadership, character, and sportsmanship, in a fun and safe environment.
The Athletics Division offers a full slate of programs for individuals of all ages and abilities. The programs vary from competive leagues to beginner lessons for individuals as young as four years of age. Currently, the Division offers programs in soccer, football, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, golf, volleyball, wrestling, gymnastics and self defense at various times during the year.
