Water Aerobics & Swimming at Green Ridge - Startgin January 22
This program is specifically designed for all individuals. Come to the new Green Ridge Recreation Center for warm water aerobics and swimming this semester! Have a great work out and then sooth your body in the steaming HOT TUB. Program fee: $43.00 Transportation fee: $15.00/5 week session.
25th Annual Valentines Dinner Dance - Tuesday, February 9
For all TRS participants. Attend the 25th Annual Valentine Dinner Dance at the elegant Hotel Roanoke ballroom. Celebrate Valentine's Day on Wednesday February 9th. Come and enjoy delectable food, rocking music, delirious dancing and an evening of fun and surprises. This special Valentine evening features a sit down dinner at 6 PM sharp, followed by the good ole rock and roll music of Insufficient Funds. Program fee of $25 includes dinner, dancing and all the fun! Call 772-7529for transportation availability and details.
Virginia Tech Football Trip - Saturday, April 24
This program is specifically designed for all TRS participants. Time to put on your orange and maroon as we head to Lane stadium for the Spring Game! Join us for tailgating and lawn games before we see the VT Offense take on the Defense. Lunch will be provided during tailgating, but participants may bring additional money for concessions and souvenirs during the game. Since we will be traveling transportation will be provided from pick up points only. Program fee:$32 Transportation: Included.
Trip to Hershey, PA - August 30
This program is specifically for adults with disabilities. History & Hershey will let you explore all that Central Pennsylvania has to offer! This 3 day and 2 night all inclusive trip will give you a taste of the North. Walk where history was made as we start the trip with an up close look at Gettysburg National Military Park. From there we will travel north to the 'Sweetest Place on Earth', Hershey Pennsylvania. Day two of this action packed trip we will spend at Hershey Park and the newly constructed Boardwalk at Hershey Water Park! Wrap up this trip with your choice of outings: Hershey Botanical Gardens & Butterfly House or the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum before we hit the road back south to Roanoke.
All meals (2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners), lodging, and admissions are included in trip price. All participants must be independent in daily living skills. Please call TRS for more information 772-7529 ext 2.
