Hollins Area Plan

The Hollins Area Plan Study Area measures 728 acres in size and encompasses all or portions of approximately 350 parcels.

Early April, 2008 - 507 surveys were mailed to property owners within and just outside the Hollins Area Plan Study Area.  68 surveys were returned or completed online for a response rate of 13.4 percent.  The results of the survey were presented at the second community meeting (see the results below).

April 28, 2008 - First Community Meeting was held on April 28, 2008 on the Hollins University campus.  Approximately 30 people attended the three meetings scheduled throughout the day.

January 2010 - First Hollins Area Plan Annual Update published to update Roanoke County citizens and businesses in the Hollins Area and throughout the County on the status of the implementation of the Hollins Area Plan.
