Recent Projects in the Mount Pleasant Community Plan area:
Mount Pleasant Elementary School Special Use Permit Application -Staff received an application for a special use permit to expand the Mount Pleasant Elementary School site. This petition was heard at the May 5, 2009 Planning Commission and the May 26, 2009 Board of Supervisors Public Hearings. This application was request was approved and renovations are well underway at the site.
A joint worksession was held on April 8, 2008 with the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. On April 22, 2008, the Board of Supervisors Public Hearing was held and the Mount Pleasant Community Plan was adopted.
