Facility will be first LEED certified building
constructed by Roanoke County
(December 2008) - All footings are complete and concrete floor slabs have been poured for Administrative and Parts areas of the building. Work on the exterior, split-face block walls is underway, commencing on North (Administrative) end and is about one-fourth done.
Sanitary sewer, domestic water lines and storm sewers have all been installed. Site grading is 80% complete and some stabilization (seeding) has been done on the back slopes of the site. The Fleet Service Center project continues on-budget and on-schedule.
