|An Evening with Beth Macy @ South County Library|
Since it was released in July 2014, the story told in local author Beth Macy’s much-talked-about book and New York Times bestseller, "Factory Man", has resonated across America. Her book is a human story, not a dry business book. It is a story rich in history, patriotism, high jinx, and drama. It is a story Macy will share, in part, with those who attend her author talk the evening of December 16.
If you’re looking for a gift for that someone special for the holidays or want to build your own book collection, "Factory Man: How One Furniture Maker Battled Offshoring, Stayed Local – and Helped Save an American Town" will be on sale at the event for $20.00 plus tax, cash or check accepted. Beth Macy will be happy to sign new books as well as any of her books attendees currently own.
