  1. Board of Supervisors Meeting

    June 25, 6:30 PM @ Roanoke County Administration Center

    Regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors are held at the Roanoke County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive, SW, Roanoke, VA 24018. The meeting dates are set forth below with public hearings scheduled for 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise advertised. Any change to this schedule will be advertised at least two weeks in advance. The Board meeting are broadcast live on RVTV, Channel 3, and will be rebroadcast following the meeting on Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

  1. Summer Stock Dinner Theater Theater

    Enjoy Shakespeare as it was meant to be seen, in the great outdoors! This year we’re pleased to bring you a professional staging of Taming of the Shrew, produced by the Open Air Shakespeare Performers. A catered Elizabethan meal will be available at the performance for $20 person (advance registration only). Enjoy your choice of Chicken Pie or Salmon, accompanied by Compound Sallet (salad) and Creamy Rice Pudding dotted with dates and currants. If you prefer to bring your own picnic, the show only is just $8 in advance or $10 at the gate (cash only). Additional beverages and wine will be available for purchase (no outside beverages allowed). Children under five years old are admitted free. The meal will be served from 3pm to 4pm, and the show begins at 4pm. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. Advance sales end June 24.
