    Regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors are held at the Roanoke County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive, SW Roanoke, VA 24018. Any changes to this schedule will be advertised at least two weeks in advance. The Board meetings are broadcast live on RVTV, Channel 3, and will be rebroadcast following the meeting on Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

The program allocates funding to a wide range of projects, including road, bridges, sidewalks, bike paths, rail and transit improvements across the state.     A land use application has been filed with the Roanoke County Department of Community Development by IYS XXII, LC – Intercept Youth Services. The request is to rezone the property and obtain a special use permit for a halfway house, on approximately 8.46 acres located at 5673 Airport Road, in the Hollins Magisterial District. A community meeting regarding this request will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014, in the gymnasium of Burlington Elementary School, 6533 Peters Creek Road, at 6:30 p.m. See the meeting notice for additional information.
