Citizen Self Service Fees
All payments for real estate and personal property taxes made online through Citizen Self Service will include a convenience fee of 2.5% of your payment amount when made with a credit card or MasterCard debit card.  Payments made with a VISA debit card will have fixed convenience fee of $3.95 regardless of your payment amount.

Please note, this fee is assessed and collected by Velocity Payment System and is not remitted to Roanoke County.


Official Payments Corporation Fees
All payments for real estate and personal property taxes made via the phone or online through Official Payments will include a convenience fee of 2.75% of your payment amount with a $1 minimum when made with a credit card or MasterCard debit card.  Payments made with a VISA debit card will have fixed convenience fee of $3.95 regardless of your payment amount.
