Share Your Talents
The Roanoke County Public Library is looking for volunteers who can share their skills and talents to help us provide outstanding library service to our residents. The library has a variety of volunteer opportunities at all locations. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and have their own transportation. Flexible hours are available, but space is limited during the school year.

Examples of Volunteer Tasks
Library volunteers assist the library in a number of ways, including:

• Notifying patrons of request books
• Preparing displays
• Helping with book sales
• Assisting with special programs, events, and projects

Applications
Volunteer applications are available at all library branch locations, or you may fill out an online application.

Volunteers Under the Age of 18
Please note: A signature from a parent / guardian is required for volunteers under the age of 18. Teen volunteers must phone the library's children's department at (540) 772-7507 to sign up for the program.
