How to Register
There are four ways to register your camper. Before registering, be sure to read the registration policies below.
Register Online: Reserve your camper's spot right now by registering online. Please note that you must download and mail, fax or email us all registration materials for the summer program you have selected. Register through our
online registration portal. Under the "Camps" category at bottom left, please select Camp Roanoke and choose the age appropriate program. You will be prompted to create an account when you're ready to check out.
Phone: Call (540) 387-6078 ext 0 or (540) 387-6114 to register. Deposits and payments can also be made over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card.
Fax: Print a copy of the registration form and camper packet, fill in the details and fax the form to our main office at (540) 387-6043.
Mail: Print a copy of the registration form and camper packet, fill in the details and mail to Camp Roanoke, 6498 Dry Hollow Rd. Salem, VA 24153.

Registration Policies
Payment
If
registering online, 100% of the tuition fee is required at time of registration. If registering by phone, a 50% deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your space in camp. The remainder of the balance is due by the start of the session date. Payments are accepted by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Check, Money Order and Cash.

Discounts
A $25 discount will be given for payment registrations made on or before April 8. If registering by mail, postmark must be April 8 or before to be eligible for the discount.
Waiting Lists
In the event that the camp session you wish to attend is full, you have the option of putting your name on the waiting list. People on the waiting list will be notified in the order information is received, as space becomes available. Once contacted, you have until the close of business the following day (5 PM) to respond. If we do not hear from you, the next person on the list will be contacted. If you are contacted and plan to attend, all payment deadlines that are applicable will apply. If you are contacted after the payment deadline, full payment for the camp session will be expected at that time.
Transfers/Cancellations
If a session of camp is canceled by Camp Roanoke you will be given the option of transferring into another session. If transferring is not possible you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made by Camp Roanoke will be made at least two weeks in advance of the camp session. If you need to cancel out of a session for any reason, please call Camp Roanoke at 387-6114 first and then follow up your request in writing. See the refund section below for more details. If you need to transfer to another session, we will be glad to accommodate you if space is available. Deposits and all other payments are non-transferable to another camper.
Camper Dismissal
Campers possessing weapons, alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs will be expelled form camp immediately without a refund. Campers who are exceedingly disruptive, destructive or a danger to themselves or others will be expelled without a refund.
Cabin Requests
Cabins house up to 10 campers who are of the same gender and of similar age. Parents of campers wishing to stay in the same cabin together must make the request on their registration forms. We have limited flexibility in granting cabin requests due to space. We reserve the right to make the final decision regarding cabin requests.
Camper Drop Off and Pick Up Schedule
- Drop off - Campers are to be dropped off at camp on Sunday between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (lunch will not be served on Sunday). When entering the camp, park in the large parking lot on your left, staff will direct you from there. Parents: please stay with your child until they are checked in.
- Pick up - Camper pick up is on Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Please park in the large parking lot on your left after entering the camp. The person picking up your child must be listed on the pick up form (see "pick up" form). If you need to pick up your child early, please call the camp director prior to Friday.

Health and Camper Bio Forms
Whether you have registered online or via telephone, your Camp Roanoke registration is not finalized until we receive your Camper Health Form. These forms are recommended at the time of registration, and forms not received by one week before camp start date may result in the forfeit of your child's space in camp.
