- Roanoke County Code OnLine - Chapter 19 - Permit for Charitable Solicitation
"It shall be unlawful for any person to make any solicitation for the benefit of a charitable nonprofit organization unless a permit for the solicitation has been issued pursuant to the provisions of this article. This requirement applies to any solicitation made on the streets, in any public or private place or by mail or telephone."
- Roanoke County Code OnLine - Chapter 19-4 (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in solicitation from any operator or passenger of a motor vehicles that is in traffic on a public road. A public road shall include the areas of the median and the public right-of-way along the curbside.
Submitting an application:
There are two options for submitting an application for a solicitation permit. You may complete an application on-line and submit it electronically or you can print an application from the pdf file and submit by fax, mail or in person.
