General Services Administration is responsible for the management of facilities maintenance, solid waste, and the County garage. 

Roanoke County is proud to offer curbside trash, bulk garbage and brush collection for our citizens.

Our automated refuse collection is one of the most popular and cost-effective methods of collecting your trash today. It requires only one employee versus three for the old system. Your trash is handled totally by mechanical means after you place it on the curb for collection by our trucks.
