A Design Public Hearing/Open House was held on November 20, 2014, at Country Inn and Suites on Plantation Road to receive comments on the 60% engineered plans for Phase One of the Plantation Road project. Over 50 people attended to review the renderings and plans for the project and to speak with County staff, the consultants from Whitman, Requardt and Associates and Land Planning and Design Associates as well as Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) staff. The displayed materials from the meeting included:
