Welcome to the Winter Reading Program 2021! All ages can participate by reading two books and completing six activities from January 11 - March 5 to finish this year's program and earn a prize.

This year we are partaking in Beanstack's challenge sponsored by Simon & Schuster with the theme of Books Like Us. This theme celebrates diversity by harnessing the transformative power of seeing oneself reflected in a book.

Reading:

Use our Beanstack site or print out your own log here to record your titles. Two books completes this portion of the program.

Find books through our eCollection - Overdrive/Libby, RBDigital, and cloudLibrary. 

For children: Check out Tumble Books and our YouTube channel is full of fun virtual storytimes. All books you read for our Winter Reading Program will also count towards the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative.

Place materials on hold through our online catalog.

Activities:

To complete part two of the program you can earn activity badges. Visit our Beanstack page or check out the back of the printable reading log. 

Complete three activities per section before March 5 to finish the program.

Complete the program by reading your two books and earning your activity badges via Beanstack or with our paper log. Prizes will be available starting Tues., January 19. Need assistance? Call your favorite library.
