Roanoke County Board of Supervisors Seeking Applicants to Fill Windsor Hills District Vacancy

November 8, 2018 – The Board of Supervisors of Roanoke County is searching for candidates to fill the vacancy in the Windsor Hills Magisterial District as the result of Joseph P. McNamara’s election to the Virginia House of Delegates.

The person appointed shall be a qualified voter of the Windsor Hills Magisterial District and hold office until a special election in November of 2019.

The person elected at the special election will serve the remainder of Mr. McNamara’s term, which expires December 31, 2021.

If any qualified voter in the Windsor Hills Magisterial District would like to be considered for the vacancy, please mail or email a 300 word essay on why you want to be the Supervisor for the Windsor Hills Magisterial District and why you feel you are qualified to serve to the Chief Deputy Clerk at the following address or email by November 18, 2018.
