During our 4-week screening process, you can learn how to become one of the talented and dedicated men and women who answer 911 calls and dispatch help. We currently have several Communications Officer positions available and we intend to fill these positions from a pool of qualified applicants. You could be one of them! prior to an initial screening. For interested applicants, the initial screening will be your opportunity to pass the basic typing, aptitude testing, and other job-related testing to see if you can qualify to join our team.
Applicants that successfully complete an initial screening will be invited to interview for an open position. Applicants must undergo an extensive background check prior to a conditional offer to join our team. During this process, you will tour our 911 Center, observe live 911 operations, and talk to current staff about a career as a 911 professional.
