The County of Roanoke utilizes the Commonwealth of Virginia’s electronic procurement system (eVA) for issuing its competitive, sealed procurements.  In addition, the County may also post its Notice of Award, sole source and emergency award documents on eVA.

**The official solicitation documents, addenda and project information are those posted on the eVA website. The County is not responsible for 3rd party postings of our solicitations or information about our solicitations.**

Addenda

Interested parties are encouraged to visit the eVA website often to obtain addenda if they are not signed up to receive automatic notifications from eVA.  The County does not provide direct notification of changes to the original solicitation documents.  The County assumes no responsibility or liability for informing recipients of downloaded documents or changes to original documents. It is the sole responsibility of those bidders/offerors to ensure they have copies of any addenda. 

Plan Holders Lists

Because the County’s solicitations are posted on the internet for free download, the County does not maintain plan holder lists.  Any sign-in sheets from pre-bid or pre-proposal meetings will be posted as an addendum to the IFB/RFP.

eVA Vendor Registration

The Commonwealth of Virginia’s electronic procurement system (eVA) streamlines and automates government purchasing activities in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  The eVA portal is the gateway for vendors to conduct business with state agencies and public bodies.  All vendors desiring to provide goods and/or services to the Commonwealth are recommended to participate in eVA by registering as a vendor. 

There is no cost to register as a vendor on the website.  The portal will provide registered vendors with automatic notifications when a bid/proposal is posted by a buyer seeking goods/services in that match your commodity code(s), as well as notifications when an update is made (i.e. addenda issued, award notification issued, etc.).
