Vehicles & Miscellaneous Surplus Items
Roanoke County now sells all of its surplus vehicles and other miscellaneous surplus items through an online auction at Public Surplus (a subsidiary of Webcat) on a rolling basis, as property becomes available. The county no longer holds vehicles in surplus for an annual sale.
Register as a Buyer
To bid on surplus property, you must be a registered Public Surplus buyer. Once you have registered, you will receive an email with a code to confirm and activate your buyer account. Once activated, you are ready to bid on items listed.

Please note that Roanoke County Surplus Property is not continually staffed, and pick-ups must be scheduled. To schedule a pick-up of items purchased, please email Surplus Property or call 540-581-2025.
