School Facility Use Assessment 2024

In July of 2023, the County of Roanoke contracted with MGT of America Consulting, LLC (MGT) to conduct a school facility use assessment. The assessment seeks to determine the current usage of each school facility and to identify crucial future trends for residents, workers, and participants in recreational activities. Additionally, the analysis aims to explore emerging market trends and industries, assess current and future community priorities, identify desired projects and goals, explore avenues for business growth, and compare peer markets. The assessment will also involve analyzing initiatives that may have additional impacts within Roanoke County. The project included the following tasks:
