Roanoke County trash collection will be one day delayed for all routes during the week of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Day. Thank you for placing your containers to the street on the listed day and leaving until emptied.

If citizens forget to place their cans out for collection by 7:00 am the day after their normal collection, each household is provided twelve (12) trips per year to Roanoke Valley Resource Authority (RVRA) transfer stations to dispose of household trash, bulk and brush items.
